Treatment with creatine monohydrate for at least 5 years for patients with early and treated Parkinson disease failed to slow clinical progression of the disease, compared with placebo, according to a new study.

    I think lactate would work better in combo with creatine. One problem in PD is astrocytes not producing lactate for neurons as well, so neurons must use glucose for ATP, this costs energy and is not as thermodynamically favorable as lactate. Creatine alone would not help but used with lactate may be additive.
