As the title suggests, I am looking for guidance in the medical research field. I was planning on shooting for a career in virology but I have come to learn that the field does animal testing. I get why the do it but i personally don’t have it in me to do such a thing. With that said, I am at a loss as to what to do. I am going to school in the fall for biology and I want to be a part of the medical field as well. Not nursing or doctor type stuff punt lab work. I know there are lab techs in hospitals but I am shooting for something bigger. What are some types of medical research fields that don’t test on animals? Thanks
