A cancer immunotherapy cocktail delivered under skin directly to the site of melanoma skin cancer increased survival by 70% in mice.

The immunotherapy cocktail consists of an antibody (PD-1) that prevents melanoma cells from escaping immune surveillance and another antibody (CTLA-4) which enhance the ability of immune cells to kill cancer cells.
