The mood improvements were found until we hit the ceiling, which is surprisingly high at 8 servings. The study followed more than 12,000 randomly selected people and found large positive psychological benefits within two years of an improved diet. The authors of this study adjusted the effects on incident changes in happiness and life satisfaction for people’s changing incomes, personal circumstances, and other confounding factors.
