A new review of 24 studies concludes that nutrition is inadequately incorporated into medical education and that that medical students lack the knowledge and skills to provide nutritional care to patients.
The authors of this study suggest that nutritional education for medical students must be improved and made an important part of the curriculum to support future doctors.
