    This was very interesting especialy the effect on blood pressure . But is there an easy way to deal with all the garlic odor without using an expensive deodorized form of garlic.

      Paper states they supplied ‘packets of garlic’, and ‘we used raw garlic in this study’, but no mention if it was pre-crushed or whole cloves. If the average clove weighs 3g that’s over 6 cloves of garlic a day.

      Alternative conclusion - Vampire bites linked to increased triglycerides and fibrinogen.

        Exactly. I’m debating this with my girlfriend, who is a doctor (and brilliant), and she’s going on about small sample size, genetics, exercise…

        I’m responding with low/zero financial/biological costs. Sure it needs to be repeated, but sample size was large enough for a few outliers to not skew the data that much.

        She then points out, “Do you even know how much 20 grams of garlic is?” I can tell by the twinkle in her eyes that she has a good idea.

        We started piling on the cloves. 4 large cloves later, we both started laughing
