This study pooled together data from 19 studies which involved 16 countries and included 45,637 participants. In other randomized clinical trials, omega-3’s benefit multiple major cardiovascular risk factors, including triglyceride levels, blood pressure, heart rate, heart rate variability, endothelial function, and myocardial oxygen demand.
