Has your usage of Pure Encapsulations changed now that they were purchased by Nestlé?
Been trying to buy prostaphane. Rhonda says she takes it. I’d rather not fly to France. Their website doesn’t seem to ship to the US. Any ideas on how I can get my hands on some?!?! Thanks!! Twitter/Reddit=Cajundragon
Get a mail forwarder in France. Like a Mail Box Etc or something comparable.
Good idea. For now I ordered some Epiceutical BrocElite stablized sulforaphane on Amazon. Looks like the only one available in the US. It’s $69 though.
I stuck to the 3 that were mentioned by name in their research. Found here : https://chemoprotectioncenter.org/frequently-asked-questions/
“Q: (Can you recommend…?) Can you recommend any particular brand of supplements containing either SF, GR, or GR + Myrosinase?
A: This is a more difficult question for us to answer. The supplements that we are using in clinical studies and recommending to fellow investigators are: Avmacol (Nutramax Laboratories, containing GR + myrosinase), Crucera-SGS (Thorne Research, containing GR alone), and Prostaphane (Nutrinov; a French company which does not export to the USA, this supplement contains [active] SF produced from broccoli seeds). ”
Would love to get your take on BrocElite
Just ordered some on Amazon. it’s the only stabilized sulforaphanes I’ve found in the US! Will follow up.
Could someone explain the difference between taking a supplement like Thorne Niagen vs Niacin? Does taking B3/Niacin offer the similar health benefits?
Today I asked my doctor to order blood work for a standard nutrition panel (check for deficiencies in vitamin D, B and Magnesium). Her reply: ‘We don’t order it because we frankly believe it makes no sense’. I was a bit shocked. Poor nutrition and vitamin deficiencies have been shown to cause a vast arrary of health problems down the road. I was displeased and think this attitude and I feel it’s part of whats with the US medical system. Should I just order these tests on my own and pay $300 online somewhere?
