Nature walker Kim Fleming has "zombie ant" fungi named after her for discovering species in North America (thought to be tropical only)

Article also talks about how they found that the fungi only behaves as it should (manipulating ants to climb to the tops of trees & clamp mandibles to a leaf so that it may sprout a mushroom and distribute the spores widely) in the presence of the ant species it co-evolved with.
