Resistance Training in the Heat: Mechanisms of Hypertrophy and Performance Enhancement
pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
Heat exposure elicits a wide range of physiological responses that promote health. Evidence suggests that resistance training in a heated environment enhances muscle hypertrophy and bolsters performance. This review examines the neuromuscular, hormonal, and molecular responses to training in heat and the resulting adaptations in strength and muscle growth.
