This comprehensive review presents evidence demonstrating that combining exercise (aerobic and resistance training) with polyphenol supplementation (crocin, curcumin, and quercetin) improves mood, reduces anxiety, enhances cognitive function, and supports mental health more effectively than either intervention alone, through mechanisms such as neurogenesis, neurotransmitter modulation, and anti-inflammatory actions.
