Resistance Training in the Heat: Mechanisms of Hypertrophy and Performance Enhancement

May 30, 2024

“Heat exposure elicits a wide range of physiological responses that promote health. Evidence suggests that resistance training in a heated environment enhances muscle hypertrophy and bolsters performance. This review examines the neuromuscular, hormonal, and molecular responses to training in heat and the resulting adaptations in strength and muscle growth.”

Men who do exercise produce better quality semen, study finds

Feb 1, 2022

“From the article: > The results conclude that the physically active subjects display better semen values. More specifically, the differences found were in the seminological parameters of total progressive velocity and morphology, in the FSH, LH and T hormones and in the T/C ratio. Hormone data thus supports the hypothesis of a more favourable environment for sperm formation. View full publication.”
